Pembrey Club Site
The 9th October 2009 took us to the Club Site on Pembrey Country Park. 16 vans in total rallied, 14 from South Wales, 1 West Wales and 1 Non Centre member. Vans arrived on Friday night, unfortunately it was raining so setting up was not so pleasant. Saturday we woke to bright sunshine, the morning and afternoon was left free to explore the beautiful surroundings of Pembrey and at 5 o’clock ralliers met at the marshalls van to enjoy Pasta Bolognese, followed by Flag, stand up bingo and a few games of normal bingo. Later backround music and light refreshments were enjoyed in Johns awning. Sunday saw the normal Great British Weather turn back to rain and therefore packing up was just as pleasant as setting up. We would like to thank John, Debbie, Scott & Jade for their help marshalling the weekend and everyone who help out at Flag on Saturday evening.
