10 December
The Centres treasurer, Mr Darren Jones, is due to stand down shortly. If anyone
would like to stand as treasurer please contact any committee member.
10 December
At its meeting on 9th December, the Committee received notice of
resignation from Mr Ryan Hill which was accepted with regret. Ryan
was on Committee from 2008-09 and was re-elected onto the Committee as a member
at the AGM held in October. Unfortunately work commitments have resulted in him having to resign. We would like to express our sincere thanks to
Ryan for his hard work and contribution to the Centre and to wish him all
the very best for the future.
29th November
4th - 6th December pencoed rally only
Sorry cancelled due to lack of
bookings.
The bowling is still on Saturday at 10:30am at Rhondda Bowl, there are still a
few spaces available, any one who would like to bring their children please
contact John James details can be found on page 1 of the rally handbook.
18th November
20th-22nd The Chainbridge Inn
Due to the weather this venue has been cancelled.
10th November
Full payment on limited rallies must be paid four weeks before the venue
date this is your responsibility
to make full payment, and not down to the rally marshals to ring around asking
for payment.
So if you have booked any limited Rallies please pay in full A.S.A.P. or before
the four week time limit.
10th November
13th-15th November, Newton Mill Bath
This venue is now fully booked, only members who have paid in full have been
allocated a pitch.
If you have booked but not paid in full then your pitch has been
cancelled.

Gateway Caravan Park New Years Rally
This venue is on hard standing with
electric, there are still a few places left so if you are interested in going
out for new year please book A.S.A.P. Rally marshals are Alun + Carol Williams.

Best Wishes to Karly and Leon on
his safe return from serving with the Welsh Guards out in Afghanistan, Angela

We have lowered the age of the youth committee Any child in year six or above
can now join.
12th September
We now have marshals for the Halloween Rally at Gateway Caravan Park, Ryan and
Jo Clarke and Ceri and Chris Chant. Anyone wishing to attend this rally could
they please book as soon as possible. Contact details can be found on page 1 of
the rally handbook.

Due to cattle not being removed from the field this venue has been cancelled. We
are now going to Symonds Yat, there are 2 places remaining if you wish to go
please contact Helen Morgan contact details are on page one of the rally
handbook.
Directions, after Monmouth, at Whitchurch turn off A40 sp Symonds Yat West
follow SWCC signs.

Congratulations to Jo and Laura
after a 17 hour labour had a beautiful son 8lbs 5ozs, at twenty past six this morning, both
baby Corin Hart Walters and Laura are doing well. Also Congratulations to past centre chairman Ira
Walters and wife Jan who are the proud new Grandparents.

The 57th Welsh National Caravan Club Rally, Pembrey,
The Committee are looking for
volunteers for the following competitions.
Concourse D'Elegance, so if your caravan is over two years old and
you fancy entering let us know
Cookery, if you got the Gordon Ramsey bug and fancy entering let us
know
Decorated Car, we are looking for a few volunteers for this competition, so
please help
Floral, this one is for the green fingered ralliers
Bannerette and Junior Bannerette for all the artists among us
Owners' Improvement for all the handy men and women out there
Wine, for all the wine connoisseur in the centre
Photography Competition for up and coming David Baileys
Inter-Centre Quiz for all the clever ones
Car and Caravan Reversing, we are looking for both men and women for this
competition
So if you fancy entering any of the competitions please inform any of the
committee or email us on the web page,
don't forget you have to be in it to win it. So lets see if we can be
winners of the inter-centre cup for 2009

"Due to work
commitments Ira Walters has tendered his resignation as Secretary of the
Centre. I would like to thank Ira on behalf of the Centre for all his hard work
to date and wish him all the best for the future.
Due to this
there is a vacancy on the Committee for a Secretary, which needs to be filled as
soon as possible, as the Caravan Club will not allow the Centre to run without a
Secretary.
Anyone
interested in taking up this position should contact myself or any Committee
member no later than Thursday 30th April, 2009.

Congratulations to centre member Christine Griffiths on her forty-tenth
birthday. A fancy dress party was held at the
Park-Inn in Cardiff last night. A good time was had by all, Christine would like
to thank every one who helped and turned up for her party, see pictures of the
evening here

weighing 6lb 5oz, both baby and Laura are doing well. Congratulations to Steve and Annette Murphy

surprise party was held in the Non-poll club Tonyrefail, a good time was had by
all, Angela would like to thank every one who helped and turned up for her
