Margam Park 27 outfits attended the weekend. On Friday we gathered in the Margam Lounge to watch the Wales v France game. Saturday morning the reversing competition started at 11am, there was a good response from both ladies and men. The winner for the men was Glyn-Owen Barr in 28 seconds and 2nd place Byron Port. The ladies winner was Jackie Barr and runner up Lisa Warden-Roles. Well Done to both winners and runners up, and to everyone else who entered. In the evening we gathered at jjs cafe for home made traditional cawl. Sunday morning we set the St Davids day theme for flag with home made Welsh cakes (thanks to Doreen Warden ) very nice too. We also welcomed two new ralliers and the Alun Williams Trophy was presented to Glyn-Owen and wine for Jackie. A good time was had by all, the rally ended at 4pm. |
