29th December
We regret to report that past centre chairman Mr John Teague passed away
last night. John was a much loved and well respected member and will be
sorely missed. Our thoughts and condolences go to Martin, Gaynor and
families. Details of the funeral arrangements will follow shortly.
16th November
Malcolm, Peter, John, Jannie and families wish to express their
sincere thanks to all relatives and friends for the kind expressions of sympathy
shown to them in their bereavement of Anne.
11th November
Malcolm and family, would like to
invite every one back to the Twelve Knights in Port Talbot, after the funeral
service.
10th November
The funeral of Ann Crockett will be held at Margam Crematorium at
1.30pm on Friday 13th November, family flowers only, but donations in lieu of
flowers may be made to Leukaemia Research c/o Malcolm Crockett.
2nd November
It is with great
sadness that we report the sudden, unexpected death of one of our valued centre
members, Ann Crocket. Ann was a well known and respected member of our centre
who was always willing to lend a hand.
Our condolences are
extended to Malcolm Crockett Past Chairman of the South Wales Centre and all the
family.

The Rally Marshals Thank You
Vouchers will be given out at Rest Bay Porthcawl this weekend, or posted if you
are not booked onto the rally. The vouchers can be redeemed for food or drink on
Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd or Sunday 4th October at the Hi Tide inn at Porthcawl.
The committee would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their
help over the last year.

Due to the adverse weather during the Monday evening of the Welsh National
Rally, our closing flag was brought to an abrupt end without me having time to
express my gratitude to everyone who attended the National Rally and helped in
any way with sports, marquee or other events which enable to us to come away
with the Runner's Up Cup, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank you
all.

The funeral of Ira's father will be held on Wednesday 22 July, family service
at the home, followed by a service at Swansea Crematorium at 2.30pm. Family
flowers only, but donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Diabetes

Gaynor would like to thank
everyone who helped her on Sunday and those who stayed behind to help clean
the van, she hopes to see you all soon.

Gaynor a speedy recovery after her unfortunate accident on the rally field
today.

Vicky Peters will be held at
Tabernacle Chapel, Brecon Rd, Merthyr, at 2:30 pm Friday 5th June.
Family flowers only, all donations are to be made to the Diabetic Society.

REMEMBER NO MARSHALS NO RALLIES,
So if the committee don't have marshals for the above rallies at least
four weeks before they are due then unfortunately they will have to be
cancelled.

Atlantic Collage
There will be a teddy bears picnic held this weekend weather permitting, so
children don't forget to pack your teddies.
25th March
The Two Easter Rallies
Full payment is now overdue for both Longleat and Fontagary. Can any monies
outstanding please be paid by Monday 30th March at the latest to guarantee you the
pitch you have booked. Thanks for your cooperation, if you require any further
information please contact the rally marshals for the rally you are attending.
15th February
Congratulations to centre
member Miss Emma Wakeford for passing her driving test on Friday 13th. Well done
Emma!
15th January
The Rally previously planned for 3-5
April at Bracelands Caravan Park, Forest of Dean has unfortunately been
cancelled. A new venue is being sought. Meanwhile, a new Rally has
been arranged for 27-29 March at the David Broome Event Centre, Crick near
Chepstow. Full details are available on the

page.
8th January
It's another year, so at some point in 2009 we can all expect to receive
reminders to renew our Caravan Club membership. Please don't forget to
re-register with the South Wales Centre. It doesn't happen automatically - you have to tick the box on the renewal form
and return it to Head
Office. Forget to do it and your Centre membership will lapse!
6th January
Our sympathy is extended to Centre members, Susan and Edward Morgan and family,
following the recent death of Susan's mother. Our thoughts are with you at
this sad time. The funeral will be held at Trane Cemetery, Tonyrefail at
11.30am on Friday 9th January.
3rd January
Eileen and Phil Barr would like to thank Phil and Joyce Derbyshire, our Son's
In-laws and long distance South Wales
members for a wonderful Christmas at their home in York.
